Tattersall Takes Off at MSP International Airport
September, 2017 – We have take off. Tattersall received approval to open a custom-designed cocktail bar at Minneapolis St. Paul International airport. Construction is set to start soon after Minneapolis hosts the Super Bowl in February 2018 and will become Tattersall’s second on-premise location after our distillery cocktail room in Northeast Minneapolis.
Developed in partnership with HMSHost, part of Autogrill S.p.A, the world’s largest provider of food and beverage services to travelers, the Tattersall cocktail bar will occupy 1,235 square feet on concourse C. Current concept designs include three distinct areas: a bar, lounge and light dining area and a décor plan that captures Tattersall’s refined elegance and masculine aesthetic. The space will also pickup references from Tattersall’s distillery cocktail room: a glass garage door frontage, curved wooden bar and antique chandelier overhead.
“We’ve been working hand in hand with HMSHost on the plans for this venture for some time,” says Jon Kreidler, chief officer and co-founder, Tattersall Distilling. “The entire pre-approval process has been flawless and we’re thrilled to get the green light. Now the real work – and fun – begins, developing a physical space, environment and menu that gives travelers what they really crave: a restful, re-energizing and top shelf experience wherever they’re headed or returning from.”
